Material Handling Resources (MHR)
MHR was founded in 1996 in Nashville, TN. We’ve grown to over 50 employees located in Middle Tennessee, servicing a customer base across the country.
The original MHR location was destroyed in the 2020 Nashville tornado. Though we lost assets, we were fortunate there were no injuries. We chose to relocate to LaVergne, Tennessee, in the heart of distribution neighborhoods and our showroom has been open since 2021.
At MHR, we believe in fostering long-term relationships with our customers and growing together year after year. We maintain a small business, family oriented mentality, even as we expand each year. Some of our team members have been with us for over 40 years, proving that MHR is a great place to work.
We are passionate about giving back to the community. Our team supports local organizations through the GEODIS Foundation by organizing clothing and shoe drives, volunteering for Thanksgiving turkey baskets, and providing Christmas gifts for children.
At MHR, we are committed to giving back to Mother Nature. We take simple actions like reducing paper consumption by not printing emails and reusing cardboard boxes for shipping and receiving. Additionally, we utilize electronic dispatching for technicians, mapping optimal routes to reduce fuel consumption. We are constantly searching for new ways to lessen our environmental impact, both locally and nationally.
